Systeam acquires Despec Nordic

Distributor Systeam acquires Despec Nordic to establish a market presence in Scandinavia.

Distributor Systeam has acquired Despec Nordic. With the signing of the contract on June 4, the Ebensfelden-based specialist for printing solutions, which previously focused on the DACH region, gained market access in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. »We are convinced that we will benefit from the merger and look forward to a common future with Despec. With Despec Nordic we have acquired one of the three largest printer and supplies distributors in Scandinavia«, explains Systeam's Managing Director Michael Mitlacher. Despec Nordic split off from distributor Despec Supplies in 2006. Systeam ist one of Germany's leading distributors for printing solutions. The company expanded into Switzerland in 2004 and established a subsidiary in Austria in 2011. Systeam today has a staff of 180 employees. Michael Voll, Managing Director of Despec Nordic, will continue to run the company. »Despec has a strong new owner. Nothing will change for Despec's and Systeam's business partners. We expect that we will share our product portfolio and our know-how and that this will also have a positive effect for our customers«, says Michael Voll.
